Any idea's for snoring? (besides pillow smothering)?
My partner drives me insane!! I am sure a lot of people shift though this. What actually works? We have tried sprays that work on and sour.. Any ideas? Thanks.
Answers:
try getting some of those "breath right naal strips". they are really good for snoring prevention.
Get your partner checked for sleep apnea. An ENT can check and see if nearby are any obstructions in the nasal passage, first.
If sleep apnea is the problem, then the treatment for that may help prevent other condition problems (heart).
My husband's snoring improved after he went past its sell-by date the gluten grains (wheat, barley, oats and rye) because some of his respiratory condition was mortal caused by his gluten grain allergy.
Best of luck.
Yeah.. go to your dentist..
Ask them if they hold nasal strips which goes over the nose. Basically a nasal strip is a piece of flexible plastic inbuilt in a sticking plaster. The strip is attached across the outside of the nose where on earth the plastic automatically tries to straighten itself out.
The result is a gentle, continuous pressure pulling the nostrils open. This effectively widen the nasal passage and allows for improved airflow. For heaps people this can be enough to augment the breathing and make a significant difference to their snoring problem.
Most brands of nasal strips are available in different sizes. It's earth-shattering to buy the right size - the strip should over the nose only. If it extends to the cheek consequently the pressure of the plastic will be severely reduced.
Also.. to increase the chance of it working you should:
*not smoke
*don't drink an hour before sleeping
*sleep on your side
*breathe through your antenna
*lose weight
*raise your head near an extra pillow
The best bet is just to see a doctor or dentist,
and they could also diagnose him for sleep apnea.
(Obstructive sleep apnea can be caused by hindrance to or collapse of the upper airways during sleep. Such obstruction may be the result of illness, genetic makeup, lifestyle issues or simple age. A adjectives symptom is snoring, although not all heavy snorers suffer from sleep apnea.)
for very soon.. you might need ear plugs or muffs :-)
hope this helps! Source(s): www.here-be-dreams.com/

Nose strips can help. If snoring is frequent, he may involve to see a doctor to have a sleep study to determine if it is caused by sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is a condition when one stops breathing at times when asleep. Very chancy, but treatable with positive pressure device.
ear plugs... for you.
Actually, check their tonsils out. I snored frightfully, which was due to having enlarged tonsils. Once they be removed, I stopped snoring. Same with my eldest son. He snored so loud you could her him between to closed doors with his bedroom down the passage from ours. His snoring also stopped when his tonsils were removed.
When he/she is sleeping whip a hammer and bash there skulls within........after that go eat cherioes
breath right muzzle stripes
To some degree, the Breathe Right strips work. My husband used to take them on camp trips because the other scoutmasters kidded him so much.
But frankly, you might as well return with used to it if you're going to stay with this person. My husband can shake the house, but I've grown so used to it, I enjoy trouble sleeping without it. At least I know he's undisruptive at home every night...and there when I call for him.
See the doctor and explain the problem, ask if a sleep study is contained by order. If it is, the doctor will tell you around the options of breathing machine for sleep apnea . The electrical device regulates breathing, a little hard to carry used to the first week but after that the snorer won't sleep without it, they will feel more rested than they ever hold.
I poke my wife in the ribs and give an account her to roll on her side.
The best remedy? Lose weight.
If not, have a sleep study done, and they will run from there with a CPAP, BiPAP, or within are some extremely painful and minimally helpful surgical option...
